I am from Winterset, Iowa and my home parish is St. Joseph Catholic Church in Winterset. This year, I am one of the Service Outreach and Adopt-a-Grandparent discipleship council members. Along with Eric Mueller, I coordinate events such as: trips to the North East Iowa Food Bank, visits to local elderly through adopt-a-grandparent, and Thanksgiving food baskets. I decided to join the discipleship council because I want to give back to the St. Stephen's community and the Cedar Valley as a whole because both have made my experiences at the University of Northern Iowa memories I will treasure greatly.
