​Archdiocese of Dubuque

The Archdiocese of Dubuque began as the Dubuque Diocese on July 28, 1837 and was elevated to an Archdiocese by Pope Leo XIII on June 15, 1893. The current Archbishop is Archbishop Michael Jackels. The Archdiocese provides many opportunities for individuals to get involved in their faith.

​St. Patrick's - Cedar Falls

St. Patrick parish is the oldest parish in Black Hawk County. St. Patrick's has a Catholic School serving students in kindergarten through the 8th grade; located a block away from the church. St. Patrick's Parish offers all of the Sacraments including First Communion and Confirmation.

The United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) is a great Catholic resource. The website provides information on The Mass, the Liturgical Year, it has links to the daily readings, explains our beliefs and teachings, and has information on various social issues.

​Waterloo Catholic Parishes

The Catholic Parishes of Waterloo are made up of Blessed Sacrament Parish, St. Edward Parish, Sacred Heart Parish, and Queen of Peace Parish. These parishes offer Sacraments for families with children such as First Communion and Confirmation.

Cedar Valley Catholic Young Adults is a ministry in conjunction with the Waterloo Catholic Parishes. "This ministry is a place for Catholic young adults in their 20s and 30s to walk with each other in their daily endeavor to delve deeper into the heart of Christ." They offer a wide variety of opportunities to get to know other Catholic young adults, to grow in your relationship with Christ, and to learn more about the Catholic faith.
